Collaborative Meditation Workshop (Just So Space, Sunday evenings, 4:30-6, ongoing)

 

Meditation for Well-Being (Open Door, 18 North Main Street, WRJ, Friday mornings 9-10:30AM, July 24th - August 28th [no longer in session])
This class is intended for people living with chronic pain, illness, fatigue, and anxiety, and for their caregivers. Through body-based meditation, awareness practice, shared expression, and simple movement, we will work together to expand each participant’s sense of resiliency and possibility, even in the midst of difficult situations. Emphasis will be given to daily practice, and to developing successful personal strategies for cultivating and maintaining well-being. No meditation experience necessary.

Sunday Meditation Group (Open Door, 18 North Main Street, WRJ, Sunday mornings 9-10AM [no longer in session])
Meditation with tea & discussion afterwards. If you’re looking for support in your existing meditation practice, or interested but not sure how to begin, join us for sitting, standing, walking, and dialogue practices. We’ll focus on spacious awareness and coming home to your own good heart. Please bring a yoga mat, cushion, and blanket. All are welcome. Please bring your donations to class.

Meditation and Movement (with Kate Gamble, Open Door, 18 North Main Street, WRJ, Wednesday mornings 10-11AM, ongoing)
We'll combine meditation and natural movement to hone our ability to be present and grounded in our body. Work will be done slowly, allowing for internal focus, and expand to include easy movement explorations in relationship with the space and others. Opportunity to discuss and journal about the experience. No experience necessary. For ages 14 and up.
